Castilla looks dry and rough. It looks sad and hard to live here. It may well be; proof of it is that many people have migrated from here to different cities. But cities continue to need bread and it is still here where it comes from.

Dry and rough land is what wheat needs to thrive, and bread is something that can / should never be missing in any Spanish meal.

Then suddenly you discover a river and the green colour never leaves the fine line that ploughs through the yellow landscape in the summer, or the brown naked fields in the winter.

Castilla parece seca y dura. Parece triste y duro vivir aquí. Bien pudiera ser; prueba de ello es que mucha gente ha emigrado de aquí a diferentes ciudades. Pero las ciudades siguen necesitando pan y aún es aquí de donde proviene.

Tierra seca y dura es lo que necesita el trigo para y el pan es algo que nunca puede / debe faltar de ninguna comida española.

Y de pronto descubres un río y el color verde nunca abandona a la fina línea que surca el paisaje amarillo en verano, o los campos desnudos marrones en invierno.
