To easily schedule tweets and so participate in campaigns without having to be tweeting at the same time.
- Requirements:
Computer, PC or Tablet, never from a mobile phone.
Internet connection
A Twitter account.
Mozilla Firefox browser, ideally. In any case, avoid Chrome because it gives automatic pad translation problems. - Log in to your Twitter account from https://twitter.com
Enter your account, your password and click on Login. The main page will appear - Open a new tab in your browser. If using containers, make sure the new tab opens in the same container.
- In the new tab, enter the link https://twittimer.com/ and click ↲.
- The twittimer homepage will appear which, by the way, also allows you to schedule posts on linkedin and facebook. To schedule tweets, click on Login with Twitter.
- A consent page will appear. If you agree, click on Login, if you don’t agree, this is the end of the story
- A page will appear indicating that it is connecting to your twitter account for a few seconds.
- The twittimer page will appear, indicating the time according to the time zone you have on your computer, if it does not correspond to the time in which you live it is important to take it into account so that the tweets go out correctly at the programmed time. Or you can change it, in the settings menu on the left of the screen. On the top right is also the “Getting started guide” with instructions.
- Click on “New Message”.
- Enter the tweet in the box, the date in DD/MM/YYYYYY format or by clicking on the graphic calendar, and the time you want your tweet to go out. Then click on schedule.
- The tweet will appear at the bottom it and can be modified or deleted by clicking on the configuration wheel to the right of the box.
- To participate in campaigns, you can copy the tweets from the pads to the box and schedule the tweets every 3, 4 or 5 minutes. It is advisable to leave
a margin of 5 minutes from the start of the campaign, for example if it starts at 11:00 a.m., start scheduling from 11:05. - To exit twittimer, click on Logout.
- Once scheduled, the tweets will go out at the scheduled time without the need to log in.
